Natural Resources 🌲
As the use of fossil fuels increases, environmental pollution is getting worse. Representatively, I will introduce a few. First of all, air pollution is getting worse day by day. Burning fossil fuels produces harmful pollutants and pollutes the air. Nitrogen oxides and hydrocarbons combine in the air by sunlight to cause smog. Carbon monoxide, the main source of emissions from cars, is a gas that occurs when fossil fuels are not fully burned, causing headaches and additional stress in people with heart disease. In addition, mining, refining, transportation and consumption of oil cause water pollution. This causes acid rain to fall, polluting rivers and land. This leads to water pollution and soil pollution.
Because of these dangers, people are focusing on natural resources, not on energy from fossil fuels or oil running dry in 40 years. Natural resources arise in natural environments that are relatively unaffected by humans. Natural resources are also characterized by the amount of biodiversity and geodiversity present in various ecosystems. Natural resources are divided into two categories : renewable resources and nonrenewable resources. Renewable resources can be resupplied in a short time such as plants, wind, water and solar energy. Another one is the nonrenewable energy which cannot be supplied by nature within a short period of time and the amount is fixed on Earth. Underground resources that people usually know are included in the nonrenewable energy. Underground resources are the resources in the form of a solid, liquid or gas that is naturally produced in the crust or its surface. It is also divided into ten categories : energy resources, steel commercial materials resources, basic metal resources, light metal resources, chemical industry materials resources, electronic industrial materials resources, refractory resources, precious metal resources, abrasive resources and geothermal and groundwater resources. Since nonrenewable energy is almost gone, it is the duty of the next and our generation to develop and get to know these resources.
