Emission of Trash Effects 🚮

In a sort of way, trash is fair enough in people’s lives. No one can do everything without trash or garbage. To get rid of it, landfills are important things to exist despite NIMBI. People may think they do not use a lot of disposable products including paper cups, wooden chopsticks or even vinyl from snacks. People have been constantly recommended not to use those disposable products for eco-friendly exercise, but most of them do not keep that in mind. In fact, America is the first one of the countries which generates the biggest number of trash. The world generates at least 3.5 million tons of plastic a day, but Americans release 240 million tons a year which means 4.4 pounds per day per person.

As you know, because of numerous trash in the world, there are some greatly potential negative effects on the Earth.

1. Increasing of greenhouse gases (Greenhouse effect)

2. Higher average temperature in the world

3. Reduction and melting of icebergs of the poles

4. Higher average sea level

5. Sink of some islands

As trash combusts and noxious gases go up to the sky, the atmosphere which is called ozone becomes thicker with those gases, mixed between O3 and noxious gases. It makes sunlight coming to the Earth atmosphere not to be reflected to the space again because of the thick layer of ozone. We call this phenomenon of greenhouse effect, and it leads to temperature increase. If the average temperature of the Earth increases, ice or icebergs on the poles melt as the air from countries emitting gases largely circulates by mixing the whole Earth’s air. Therefore, the temperature of poles also increases, and the doubling of water makes higher average sea level, which leads to some sinking islands.

As you see, negative effects follow one after another through 1 to 5. Moreover, because of sinking islands, people in those lands experience frequent tsunamis, or seismic sea waves that give much loss of lives. There can be social issues including relieving people who lose their houses or countries and allowing them to live in other countries.
